My name is Glen Doris and I am a freelance historian with a PhD in Eighteenth-Century British history and philosophy. As part of a Christian NGO I traveled to over 60 countries in Asia, Africa, Australasia, Europe and the Middle East with my family in tow. I am currently based in Aberdeen, Scotland, where I research and write, mostly for my own pleasure.
